Chinese resturants

Ever wonder why Chinese restaurants have such bad services? Well, it's because they don't care! One thing they do care about is when are you going finish. This allows them to clean up and seat the next the table. It's all about business. Traditional Chinese restaurants (not Pee Efu Changs) do not have waiter-assigned sections. In order to ask for something else after you've placed your order, you just have to wave someone (anybody that works in the restaurant) down. It's also easier if you read and speak Chinese. My friend always has me translating the menu to him because he doesn't know what he's ordering from the English menu. I also order for him in Chinese to ensure he gets what he wants. The easiest to ask for your check, get their attention and make a rectangle shape with you fingers. I've learned this from my friend. It's worked for him and me.
